Crystal Hogue

Development Specialist

Crystal Hogue began at Cunningham in February 2017 as the Development Specialist for the Advancement department. She manages all activities related to gift processing, thank you letters, financial reporting, develops strategies and reports based on donor data, manages the department's Raiser’s Edge software, and provides basic training and support for staff.  She identifies areas to improve operational and reporting efficiency.

Crystal is delighted to be a part of the Advancement Team and comes to us with an advanced degree in Business Administration. She has a background in financial services, management, medical education, healthcare, insurance, motivational public speaking, and community outreach.  She volunteers as a Bible teacher, a women’s small group leader, and a vocalist for her church. In her spare time she oversees a non-profit community organization and volunteers as the executive director of Gospel stage plays presented in the Chicagoland area and various communities.

She is married to Charles Hogue who has been a school administrator for over 25 years. Together they have raised three children, and have fostered six others. She feels privileged and humbled to serve in an organization whose focus is primarily on meeting the needs of children. Crystal enjoys reading, butterflies, flowers, taking walks through botanical gardens, and the beach. Her favorite book is the Bible. Crystal grew up in a Christian environment and has six siblings.
