On May 16 the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) honored Cunningham Children’s Home Specialized Foster Care Program for excellence in the areas of dignity and respect or foster parent involvement.

This plan is more than just words. Cunningham’s foster care staff are dedicated to working as a team with foster families to provide a healing and supportive environment for foster kids. An excerpt from the plan states, “Our foster families can rely on our ability to listen and hear their concerns.”
