On September 29, Cunningham received the largest gift to our capital campaign to date. Thanks to a $500,000 gift from the Noel Family Foundation, the agency has now raised $6.5 million towards the cost of replacing outdated facilities on our main campus.
Richard and Rosann Noel are longtime Cunningham supporters who were inspired to support the campaign in this dramatic way thanks to the leadership of former Illini Coach Lou Henson and his wife Mary. Since last fall Lou and Mary have led the effort to build needed education and special therapies facilities through "Coach's Campaign," reuniting with Illini and NBA great Kendall Gill and his wife Wendy.
The Hensons and Gills hope to call attention to the needs of children and adolescents at Cunningham. Read more about Coach's Campaign and how you can support this important effort.
