Ramiro Bosquez Continues to Serve
Ramiro Bosquez recently got in touch to wish his Cunningham family good wishes, and update us on how he’s been doing. Ramiro lived at Cunningham during the 1980’s. Since that time, he has dedicated himself to serving his country and community.
Cunningham Board members and some of our supporters may remember that Ramiro served in the military after leaving Cunningham, and that he is a veteran of the first Iraq War. During his time in the service, Cunningham friends and family kept in touch, writing to Ramiro and wishing him a safe return home.
Ramiro has long spoken of wanting to become a police officer, and we’re proud to report that he has fulfilled his dream – becoming an officer with a local Sheriff’s department in 2000. At the end of 2005, he and some of his coworkers were honored by the local chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving for making the most DUI arrests that year.
Ramiro and his wife Pamela are happily married and raising his two step-sons, Keenan and Tyler.
We’re always glad to hear from alumni, and are pleased that Ramiro was willing to let us share his update in our Alumni News.
