  • Clinical Coordinator - CIRCLE Academy: Provides clinical oversight to the students at the CIRCLE Academy. Creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic school environment that provides the highest quality of Social and Emotional Learning and mental health stability is the top priority for this position. Success will be achieved with the assistance of six supervisees.Requirements include a Master’s Degree in social work or a similar human services, at least five years of direct clinical work with children and adolescents with severe emotional/behavioral challenges, at least three years experience supervising employees, ability to meet the qualifications required by the State Board of Education.
  • Information Technology Assistant: Provides assistance to the IT Systems Administrator for direction, training and support by providing “help desk” support to network users, providing training for new staff on system basics, and providing support for phones, copiers, etc. Requirements include two years of IT related experience involving Windows (required) and Linux and Mac OS X (preferred), Citrix, McAfee Antivirus / ePO, ISA Server and knowledge of SQL (especially MySQL), and Cisco and HP managed internetworking devices. Candidates must be able to work within established guidelines to assist people of all technology skill levels.
  • Special Therapies Specialist: Provide therapeutic recreation, music therapy, and other art therapy to children and youth ages 9-18 with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. Our department works as a team to develop, implement, and evaluate goal-oriented treatment and recreation programs. Requirements include group and individual therapy skills, understanding of child/adolescent development, knowledge of art, music and/or recreation therapy techniques. Required CTRS certification/registration as a recreation, art, or music therapist. Bachelor’s degree required; preferred successful internship in related field such as mental health, recreation, art, or music therapy. Meet Medicaid requirement of a Mental Health Professional.
  • Special Therapies Specialist – Music Therapist: Provide recreation and music therapy to children and youth ages 9-18 with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. Required MTBC certification/registration as a music therapist. Bachelor’s degree required and preferred successful internship in music therapy. Meet Medicaid requirement of a Mental Health Professional.
  • Kitchen Assistant Cook- Partime: Provide quality food service to children and staff; to include preparation of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while interacting positively with staff and children.Preferred experience using ovens, stove, slicer, mixer, chopper, fryer, carts, toaster, dish machine, pots & pans, knives, serving & cooking utensils. Usual schedule is 9 am - 3 pm on Mon-Fri when school is in session.
  • Night Milieu Counselor: Contribute to the residential treatment team by providing overnight support and supervision to up to ten youth ages 9-16 in a home-like therapeutic milieu within our Residential Treatment Program. This position requires staying awake and alert throughout a 10 or 12 hour overnight shift with 4 nights on, 4 nights off. High School diploma or GED required. This position requires the physical and emotional strength to effectively and safely manage youth during aggressive or self-harming episodes, and applicants must be able to successfully complete training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.   • Substitute Childcare Worker: Perfect for students and others looking for a flexible schedule. Contribute to the residential treatment team by supporting and supervising up to ten youth ages 9-16 in a home-like therapeutic milieu within our Residential Treatment Program on a substitute basis. Available shifts include weeknights, weekend evenings, and overnight shifts. This position requires the physical and emotional strength to effectively and safely manage youth during aggressive or self-harming episodes, and applicants must be able to successfully complete training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.   • Day Milieu Counselor: Contribute to the residential treatment team by supporting and supervising up to ten youth ages 9-16 in a home-like therapeutic milieu within our Residential Treatment Program. BA or BS required; Mental Health Professional (MHP) – BA/BS in Human Services (social work, psychology) preferred; or 5 years experience in the Human Services Field.   • Special Education Teacher at CIRCLE Academy, a non-public BD/SED Special Education School serving K-12: Work with small class sizes in a supportive and positive work environment. Will closely follow Urbana school calendar and salary schedule. Teacher Assistants provided and excellent benefit package offered. Requirements: State of Illinois LBS1 certificate.   • Teacher's Assistant: Responsibilities include working directly with certified teachers to provide services in a school setting to S/ED, BD, LD youth. Thirty hours of college credit and previous experience in a school setting is preferred.  Applicant must be dependable and a team player with a strong work ethic.  Usual schedule is 6.5 to 7.0 hours per day Mon-Fri when school is in session.
