Dawn has over 15 years experience working with children, teenagers, young adults, and families. She has worked extensively in residential treatment settings, community-based programs, and with youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
Dawn has experience in treating mood disorders, ADHD, disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders, anxiety, attachment/relational issues, and issues stemming from trauma. Dawn is trained in NMT (Neurosequential Models of Therapeutics) and PracticeWise MAP program.
Dawn utilizes a trauma-informed and strength-based approach in her practice. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers through the National Association of Social Workers.
Education: Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Illinois University with a concentration in Psychology; Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois
