Tim Taylor has over 20 years of experiencing working with children, teenagers, adults, adults with developmental disabilities, couples and families. Over the past 18 years, he has worked extensively with children, parents and families involved with the child welfare system. This has allowed him to develop experience in treating childhood behavioral issues, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, parent-child attachment and relational issues, and symptoms of trauma.
Tim is trained in SPARCS –I (Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Re-experiencing Chronic Stress), Skills-Streaming, and PracticeWise MAP program. Tim utilizes a trauma informed, strength-based and family systems approach to counseling. Tim is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Education: Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Illinois: Master of Education with an emphasis in Community Counseling from Eastern Illinois University
