Your purchase of a quilt will help the youth at Cunningham! Three unique quilts are now available online as part of the Festival of Quilts.
For the second year, members of the Orange Krush (Fighting Illini Basketball's student cheering section) have donated a bed quilt for our annual Festival of Quilts. The king-size (105" x 118") quilt embodies the spirit of the Illini. It features 31 vintage and contemporary t-shirts (some from Coach Lou and Mary Henson's private stash) celebrating the Krush and Illini basketball, this quilt would make a perfect addition to any Illini fan's home.
Kids Helping Kids!
The kids in the A.S.K. program (After School Kids) at Illiopolis United Methodist Church created two quilts, a quilt for a boy and a quilt for a girl, with the help of volunteers. The kids were very proud of their work, knowing that their quilt would be used to bring healing and hope to other kids.
Anyone interested in bidding on these quilts in the online auction can visit our website at cunninghamhome.org and follow the link for the online auction or click here. The online auction will continue throughout the live auction (April 10th and 11th) with staff updating the bid sheet for our online participants and keeping the live auction current with the bidding process. All bids, both online and live, will close at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 11th.
Last year the Festival raised more than $54,000. Your support of the Festival helps Cunningham create, inspire, and nurture hope for our youth and their future.
