You made our day. Actually, it was two days!
We can’t thank you enough for your support of the 14th Annual Festival of Quilts. You helped us raise more than $71,000 to support the more than 450 youth and families that Cunningham serves each year.
Because of your support of the Festival, our signature fundraiser, hope is building every day within our youth.
Mark your calendars now for next year's Festival: April 5-6, 2019!
Cunningham Children’s Home has honored four employees for their significant contributions to the organization. The Circle of Courage Award recognizes the dedication and service of outstanding long-term employees, celebrates staff whose long-term pattern of performance goes above and beyond normal expectations, and offers special recognition for exceptional acts that reflect the agency’s program model.
Two very special awards were presented by Cunningham Children’s Home on Wednesday as more than 100 current and past board and committee members and guests attended the annual Board Appreciation Day luncheon at the Spiritual Life Center. Mike and Scott Balogh, representing the Illini Collector Car Club (ICCC), were honored with the Friend of Children Award and Don Pittman was given the Outstanding Alumni Award.
Drum roll please.... We are delighted to annouce that the 13th Annual Festival of Quilts brought in over $76,000 in net proceeds. Thank you for supporting us and our vision to see every child thrive!
Save the Date for the 14th Annual Festival of Quilts, Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, 2018!
Much to our delight, and to the delight of our hundreds of visitors, the 13th Annual Festival of Quilts featured a record 67 show quilts and 69 auction quilts. Each and every one of the quilts were truly unique and amazing and made for quite a show! We thank all who provided these beautiful quilts.
While determining the Quilt Show winners of this year’s Festival, the judges had a monumental task but here are the best of the best:
