As stewards of the Cunningham bequest, the United Methodist
Women of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of The
United Methodist Church have a very special covenant
with Cunningham Children's Home. It is the role of the
district representative to ensure the integrity of the
Cunningham mission by providing the communication link
between the women in the district and the Cunningham
Board, staff, children and youth.
These dedicated women are ambassadors for Cunningham,
attending District, Conference, and Unit meetings to
provide current information about the Cunningham mission
and ministry. Public speaking, delivering in-kind donations,
article writing, fundraising, and Board nominations
are all critical components of District Representatives
efforts.
