We are delighted to host events throughout the year that engage our community, provide the opportunity to share our mission, allow us to develop long-lasting relationships and, most importantly, bring hope to the youth and families we serve.

Every October, our community is invited to lace up their shoes and participate in the Be a Hero 5K

Luminaries of Hope and Live Nativity—a special drive through event on our campus—has become a beautiful holiday tradition. This uplifting event brings the light of hope at Christmastime to our entire community!

Our Month of MARCH campaigns—which coincide with March Madness—have allowed us to meet a Cunningham need in fun and creative ways. And what we’ve learned along the way is you just never really know what resonates with people and touches their heart!

The Festival of Quilts honors the tradition of the United Women in Faith, and the quilts they have created and donated since 1895 for our kids. Each child at Cunningham receives a quilt of their own to wrap them in warmth, safety, and love as they work to build independence.

Former Fighting Illini and NBA great Kendall Gill and his family return for the annual Kendall Gill Golf Benefit for Cunningham Kids.

The proceeds from these events go directly to the daily care and needs of the youth and families served by Cunningham.
