What is Luminaries of Hope?

The Light of Hope

Preparations for Christmas start and finish with a special drive through event on our campus: Luminaries of Hope and Live Nativity.

We celebrate and honor Judge Joseph and Mary Cunningham and are so thankful for their giving hearts and desire to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. They are truly our lights of hope.

We celebrate them and bring the light of hope at Christmastime to the youth, adults and families we serve but also our entire community with this uplifting event.

Along with a live nativity, luminaries purchased by supporters are lit throughout our campus and for a suggested donation of $5, the community is encouraged to drive through and enjoy this special event.

When guests arrive, they receive a program featuring the names of all who have purchased luminaries of hope and the names for whom they are honoring or memorializing.

Our illuminated campus was breathtaking! Over three straight Saturdays in December 2020, we welcomed nearly 300 visitors from all over our area as they drove through our campus and enjoyed hundreds of lighted luminaries that led to a live nativity.
