Hello, my name is Brandi, and I am a therapist at HopeSprings. I have had the opportunity of working with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds over the past several years. I have always had a passion for working with youth and families in a community-based setting. I studied criminal justice and child development at Parkland College and criminal justice at the University of Maryland. After reflecting on some life experiences, I decided to return to school and pursue a master’s degree. I studied Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology at the Northcentral University and I am currently working on my Master of Social Work.
I have experience in customer service, day care settings, working with families with DCFS involvement, and with children, adults, and families in need of psychiatric hospitalization services.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). I practice from a strength-based and client-centered perspective. I look forward to working with you and your family to overcome hurdles and grow into the person you were meant to be.
