Brooke has over 13 years experience providing therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has worked extensively in outpatient settings, residential treatment, and the juvenile justice system. Brooke has experience working with a wide variety of mental health issues, but has a strong interest in attachment/developmental trauma. She utilizes a trauma informed and family systems approach to treatment.
Brooke is certified in the Illinois Medicaid-Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (IM-CANS) and Practicewise as a MAP Therapist. She has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), the Nurtured Heart Approach, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is completing her certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in pre-professional English from Southern Illinois University; Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Illinois University
