Cunningham Children's Home Honors Employees

Cunningham Children’s Home honored four employees for their significant contributions to the organization in a ceremony on March 30.

The Circle of Courage Award recognizes the dedication and service of outstanding long-term employees, celebrates staff whose long-term pattern of performance goes above and beyond normal expectations, and offers special recognition for exceptional acts that reflect the agency’s program model.

Recipients of the 2017 Circle of Courage Award are:

• Chalaine Davis – Case Manager

• Joe Lard – Maintenance Lead

• Brenda Tucker – Associate Director of Health Services

• Kasey Wells – Case Manager

The Circle of Courage Award is presented annually by the Leadership Team of Cunningham Children’s Home during the Employee Appreciation Event.

At Cunningham Children’s Home, a community converges to give hope to those who need it most—youth who suffer from serious emotional and behavioral challenges that have been caused by abuse, neglect, mental illness, and more. Through comprehensive programs and services, Cunningham provides expert care to help our kids learn positive coping and behavioral skills, achieve realistic academic goals, and develop the life skills necessary to be successful in our community.

Cunningham provides caring support and therapeutic intervention to 350 young adults and their families each year.

As a National Mission Institution, Cunningham has a covenant relationship with the United Methodist Women National Office.
