ECHO Staff Serving our Community

ECHO (Empowering Connections through Hope and Opportunity), Cunningham's Housing and Employment Support Program, has allowed our staff to serve some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in Champaign County through long term case management services. Our staff are very committed to helping our community and participate in a variety of causes.

  • Vivian Tuell from our Community Services is shown filling bags that our ECHO staff will distribute to the homeless for outreach services.
  • We received a $350 donation from CU Church to purchase the non perishable and disposable items to fill 30 bags.
  • On January 24, 2019 ECHO staff participated in the 2019 Point-In-Time Count federal study and were assigned a section of Champaign-Urbana to officially count and interview the homeless during the evening hours.
  • On February 1, 2019 several ECHO staff participated in C-U at Home's One Winter Night to help raise funds for the drop in day center and shelter which is a valuable resource for those in need.
